Running the AI Governance Function: For DPOs, Risk Heads and Boards
AI Governance, Risk & Compliance Track · Certified AI Governance Leader
This is the capstone course of the governance track and it addresses the job rather than the subject. Running AI governance means standing up a function, securing a budget, building authority you have not been given, saying no to a business that outranks you, and reporting to a board that may not understand what it is approving. It covers the specific position of the DPDP Data Protection Officer, who must be India-based and answerable to the Board of Directors, and the personal exposure that role carries. The course is deliberately candid about the political and career realities of the role, because governance leaders fail on those far more often than on technical knowledge.
