By creating an account or using ithr.online or any subdomain ("Academy"), you agree to the following. If you do not agree, please do not use the Academy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an individual learner account. Enterprise seats may be issued by an organisation admin to employees over the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
2. Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Passwords are stored using industry-standard bcrypt hashing.
- Refresh sessions live in
httpOnly + Secure + SameSite=Laxcookies. - You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-export the platform's content.
- Redistribute course content outside your organisation.
- Use the Academy to develop a competing training product.
- Attempt to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any service, API, or infrastructure component.

4. Intellectual Property
All course materials, lesson text, quiz banks, capstone briefs, market-intelligence briefings, video, imagery, and platform code are the intellectual property of ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC or its licensors. Purchase of a seat grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to consume the material within the scope of your role.
Certificates you earn are yours to display; the certificate design, verification URL, and issuer wordmark remain ITHR property.
5. Payments, Seats & Refunds
- Individual pricing is displayed on /pricing. Enterprise plans are billed by seat, monthly or annually.
- Seat additions are charged immediately (Stripe Checkout). Seat reductions issue a prorated credit against the next renewal.
- Refunds are considered case-by-case within 14 days of the first payment, provided no more than 20% of any single course has been consumed. Contact billing@ithr.online.
6. Certificates, Verification & Founding-Member Perk
- Certificates are earned on passing the course's final assessment (default passing score 65).
- Each certificate carries a public verification URL. ITHR reserves the right to revoke a certificate obtained through cheating, plagiarism, or account sharing.
- Founding-Member Perk (first 500 signups): the founder gets modules 6–15 unlocked + a free certificate on their first enrolled course only. Subsequent courses are billed at standard rates. ITHR reserves the right to modify or end the perk on 30 days' notice and will honour codes already allocated at the time of change.
- First-Course Bypass Code (first 500 first-enrolments platform-wide):
a separate one-time perk from the Founding-Member allocation. On
first enrolment in any course, a unique
FREE-XXXXXXXXcode is auto-issued by email; the code applies automatically to that course and covers both the final assessment and the certificate. The cap is tracked platform-wide; the two perks may or may not overlap for a given learner depending on signup order vs. enrolment order. Bypass codes are non-transferable and lock to the first enrolled course at time of issue.
7. AI Systems
- Some Academy features are powered by large-language-model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). ITHR does not train on your personal data unless you explicitly opt in.
- AI-generated responses are context-dependent and may contain errors. See /legal/disclaimer for scope and limitations.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination:
- Your certificates remain publicly verifiable via the URL.
- Your enrolment data is retained for 12 months for audit purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
8A. Cookies & Privacy

(httpOnly + Secure refresh-session cookie). We do not use third-party
advertising cookies. Detailed data-handling terms — including your
rights under GDPR and UAE PDPL — are described in our Privacy Policy
at /privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Warranty Disclaimer & Liability Cap
The Academy is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ITHR's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Academy is limited to the amount you paid to ITHR in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of the Emirate of Dubai, unless the parties agree in writing to arbitration under the DIAC rules.
