Designing Compliant Cloud Landing Zones for the Six GCC States
GCC Compliance & Implementation Track · Certified GCC Cloud Compliance Architect
A landing zone is where GCC compliance is either engineered in or lost. This course builds landing zone designs that satisfy NCA Cloud Cybersecurity Controls, SAMA expectations, Qatar NIA classification rules and UAE sectoral requirements — as enforced configuration rather than documented intent. It is hands-on: learners build guardrails, test them by attempting to violate them, and produce the evidence artefacts an auditor will request. Coverage includes the practical constraints that regional architects actually hit, including in-country region service gaps, sovereign region feature parity, and the operational reality of running a regulated workload where the managed service you need is not available locally.
Learning objectives
- 01Design a landing zone that enforces GCC residency and control requirements by configuration
- 02Map NCA CCC and sectoral cloud requirements to concrete platform controls
- 03Build preventive guardrails that make non-compliant deployment impossible
- 04Handle in-country service gaps without breaking the compliance position
- 05Design landing zone segmentation across multiple GCC jurisdictions
- 06Generate continuous compliance evidence from the platform itself
