Keeping AI Assistants Safe, Compliant and Under Control in Microsoft
Microsoft Track · Certified Agentic AI Specialist — Microsoft Agent Governance
Microsoft has made agent governance an explicit licensed capability rather than an optional discipline: since July 2026, agent security capabilities for Copilot Studio and Foundry agents require a Microsoft Agent 365 licence, with the agent registry as the single source of truth and Agent 365 observability logs powering detection and posture. This course is built for the people accountable for that estate. It covers the registry, agent identity, observability, Defender threat protection, Purview data security, adversarial risk, the Foundry Control Plane, evaluation quality gates, lifecycle management and the regulatory mapping a board will ask for.
Learning objectives
- 01Design and operate an enterprise agent governance operating model with named accountabilities
- 02Configure and interpret Agent 365 registry, observability and Defender detections for the agent estate
- 03Apply Purview data security and DLP to agents and remediate oversharing at scale
- 04Run an agent security incident from detection through containment to post-incident review
- 05Map the agent estate to EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF and GCC regulatory obligations
